EPILOGUE ;
EPILOGUE - WEEK 7 Wake up, Narrators. You've done well this past weekend. As you awaken on this beautiful morning, the doors to the castle are wide open and a festive mood fills the air. Music can be heard from the garden and the ballroom, the dining room's overflowing with tasty treats and beverages, and everything is awash in a soft glow of purples, reds, and golds. Yet as you exit from your dormitories for the last time, several things will be noticeable to you... Lining the hallways, several new ornate mirrors flank either wall. Each mirror is engraved with the name of a Narrator and allows each participant of this war to view their world back home. They will be able to see who they wish to see and the current state of affairs in their world. They will also, thanks to their adventures in the Other Space, be able to view the future of their home worlds and what's at stake for them. No matter where they are in the castle, each Narrator will also find themselves presented with a leatherbound book, a jar of ink and a fresh quill. As they open the book they will see a write-up of their story up until now with several blank pages at the end of the book. As promised, the ink won by the Dragon's ending is enough to allow Narrators to write their own happy endings... even those that directly clash with what they've been able to witness for themselves in the mirrors. Go ahead, write yourself into the universe of another Narrator. The story is yours to tell. Alternatively - if you seek to write a new story for yourself entirely, additional pages will be provided for you to draft up that fresh start. Meanwhile, the longer you linger around the castle it will become clear that it's much noisier than it should be for only forty people. Venturing further downstairs you will find several guests waiting for you. Some of these may be people you know from your own worlds, brought here to take you home thanks to the extra magic obtained from the Other Space. Others are past participants from previous rounds of this war, battle stories and triumphs to share. Apparently they'd received an invitation to a celebration to mark the end of it all. Even those who had died from previous rounds and not revived are present. While it had been thought that they'd been lost in the Other Side when there was not enough ink to revive them - it appears that they'd been given new life via your efforts. The clock in the foyer seems to have stopped. Take all the time you need to say your goodbyes... you are in charge of your own destiny from here on out. ![]() Welcome to your farewell log, everyone! A couple of fun notes for your perusal. Due to the efforts of characters yesterday in the mini-adventures, characters have unlocked the ability to preview their futures and decide their own destinies. Additionally, they have unlocked the ability for castmates to visit them in the castle, along with characters who have participated in previous rounds of the war! Please feel free to tag in with your gamemates' castmates or other characters from previous rounds that you can make your own Grimm AU for. If you want to share where your character is going, comment here. Your final CR chart is here, your TL;CR meme is here and your friending/love meme is here. Thank you guys so much for a wonderful eight weeks! We hope you had a magical experience here with us. ♥

Why not?
no subject
Previous experience tells me that nothing good will come of it.
Why are you still holding on?
no subject
[As for that question -]
I'm going to hold on until you hug me back.
no subject
[Fine! He lifts his arms and tentatively rests his hands on Yona's back.]
no subject
[but hah, success! yona beams and hugs him back, then lets go.]
See? That wasn't so bad, was it?
no subject
I told you where I'm headed. What about you?
no subject
[she's sure he'd agree to being sandalphon's hugging practice partner... but as for his question - hmm. that's actually one she has to think about.]
...I know I should go back home. Father is waiting for me. ...but... one of my friends from last round came all the way back here to pick me up. And... I'd miss Hiro a lot if we both went back to our own homes and never saw each other again.
no subject
Different worlds, huh . . . Is there really no way to bridge that gap?
no subject
There might be... there should be. I'm just not sure how to write it in, and even if I do, I'm not sure how much free time I'll have to go and see people, either. [the life of a princess is hard! especially when, uh, she's going right back to 2 seconds before opening the door to her dad's room ha ha ha
...then she fidgets and plays with her hair a little.]
And, I know I definitely want to keep seeing him, but I don't want to annoy him... it was just the two of us for a whole year. He probably has lots of other people he wants to see in his own world.
no subject
You say that like those two things are exclusive. If he truly enjoys your company, he'll come back to see you no matter whom else he meets in his world.
no subject
You think so?
no subject
no subject
[there was also a solid eight months of her trying to talk to him in the graveyard and him just holing himself up in his room though, so.. like.. she half expects him to go full elsa again]
...you really don't think it will bother him?
no subject
If it concerns you that much, why don't you ask him yourself?
no subject
I can't do that!
no subject
Then don't. But no good will come of making and acting on assumptions.
no subject
That's-- [hey, wait a minute. she puffs her cheeks out at him] Don't you do the exact same thing?! Isn't that why you aren't changing anything about your story?
no subject
. . . That's right. I made that grave mistake, and that's why I'm not changing anything. Can you believe it? If I had just talked to him, I might have been able to stay by his side . . .
[Pausing, he lets out a huff. He knows that Yona meant something else, but explaining that part wouldn't have helped his argument any.]
Heh. What am I saying? Our stories aren't exactly comparable. Anyway, that's what I think.
no subject
[huffs!!]
If you recognize it's a mistake, you can fix it!
no subject
And I am. I'm changing my approach. This time, I'll do what he wants.
no subject
[yes, sandalphon knows that
she just feels the need to remind him]
no subject
And I wrote him back every time . . . save for the last letter.
Enough of that. So? Since you're so insistent that I follow my own advice, what do you intend to do for yourself?
no subject
[so she'll talk to hiro instead of just backing off, it's fine]
