EPILOGUE ;
EPILOGUE - WEEK 7 Wake up, Narrators. You've done well this past weekend. As you awaken on this beautiful morning, the doors to the castle are wide open and a festive mood fills the air. Music can be heard from the garden and the ballroom, the dining room's overflowing with tasty treats and beverages, and everything is awash in a soft glow of purples, reds, and golds. Yet as you exit from your dormitories for the last time, several things will be noticeable to you... Lining the hallways, several new ornate mirrors flank either wall. Each mirror is engraved with the name of a Narrator and allows each participant of this war to view their world back home. They will be able to see who they wish to see and the current state of affairs in their world. They will also, thanks to their adventures in the Other Space, be able to view the future of their home worlds and what's at stake for them. No matter where they are in the castle, each Narrator will also find themselves presented with a leatherbound book, a jar of ink and a fresh quill. As they open the book they will see a write-up of their story up until now with several blank pages at the end of the book. As promised, the ink won by the Dragon's ending is enough to allow Narrators to write their own happy endings... even those that directly clash with what they've been able to witness for themselves in the mirrors. Go ahead, write yourself into the universe of another Narrator. The story is yours to tell. Alternatively - if you seek to write a new story for yourself entirely, additional pages will be provided for you to draft up that fresh start. Meanwhile, the longer you linger around the castle it will become clear that it's much noisier than it should be for only forty people. Venturing further downstairs you will find several guests waiting for you. Some of these may be people you know from your own worlds, brought here to take you home thanks to the extra magic obtained from the Other Space. Others are past participants from previous rounds of this war, battle stories and triumphs to share. Apparently they'd received an invitation to a celebration to mark the end of it all. Even those who had died from previous rounds and not revived are present. While it had been thought that they'd been lost in the Other Side when there was not enough ink to revive them - it appears that they'd been given new life via your efforts. The clock in the foyer seems to have stopped. Take all the time you need to say your goodbyes... you are in charge of your own destiny from here on out. ![]() Welcome to your farewell log, everyone! A couple of fun notes for your perusal. Due to the efforts of characters yesterday in the mini-adventures, characters have unlocked the ability to preview their futures and decide their own destinies. Additionally, they have unlocked the ability for castmates to visit them in the castle, along with characters who have participated in previous rounds of the war! Please feel free to tag in with your gamemates' castmates or other characters from previous rounds that you can make your own Grimm AU for. If you want to share where your character is going, comment here. Your final CR chart is here, your TL;CR meme is here and your friending/love meme is here. Thank you guys so much for a wonderful eight weeks! We hope you had a magical experience here with us. ♥

What have you decided?
[He's curious to know, as anyone comes close, where their stories will go from here.]
The future is going to be bright from now on, no matter what it may be, I'm sure.
[And, regardless of what your standing relationship with him is, he'll give you a smile and bow his head.]
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to meet you.

[He could have been kinder to Ion. Goodness knows Ion deserved it.]
Waver said that you might be coming with us.
no subject
[He honestly can't imagine what he's done that requires thanking. If anything, he's sure he's been a nuisance.]
I might be...it's a bit of a hard decision, if I'm being honest. I've met so many wonderful people...the prospect of going with a number if you is equally thrilling.

[ion no waver's sister is in this castle and she's evil sAVE YOURSELF]
no subject
[ion gets a warmer smile than most, at least, as shirasu closes the book he'd been going through. whatever he chooses, it can't be something that could fail yet again; it requires some thought.]
But- thank you, as well. What is it you intend to do with yourself?
no subject
[Ion gives an understanding nod.]
But I know you'll work it out!
[He's very positive! Shirasu shall Thrive.]
As for me...I'm not entirely sure. I think I'll be going home and facing my death instead of rewriting it. I looked into the future for my world...I think my time there is done. Things are as they need to be. But, ah, I'd like to write myself going elsewhere afterwards, preferably with a better constitution. I'm simply unsure as to where would be best.
no subject
[he's SO POSITIVE... ion, how.
shirasu momentarily looks a little disappointed, at the mention of facing his death-- but then he continues, explains that he'll carry on afterward, and shirasu lets out a slow breath before nodding.]
...I suppose I can understand wanting to end things, at home, but- I'm relieved you don't intend to let yourself remain that way.
[SAYS THE GUY WHO KILLED HIM.]
As I said, I'm unsure what exactly I'm writing into place there, but should you find yourself without another place to go... I suppose I could factor that into my decision. You should have a place somewhere.
no subject
[Hopefully a long and healthy life. But at Shirasu's admission, Ion's eyes widen.]
Really? That wouldn't be too much trouble for you?
no subject
Souji will smile back though, and return the bow with a gentle dip of his head.]
Thank you, too. It's been wonderful to know you. [As if he doesn't plan on yeeting himself into everyone's lives when they least expect it with magic ink abilities hAH.]
--I haven't decided on much of anything yet, though. What about you?
no subject
I haven't decided yet, either. There are so many people I'd love to stay with. I want to go home first and finish the last moment I have left in my own story, and then live elsewhere, perhaps where I could do some good.
no subject
It's really something amazing that you can actually make all of that happen, isn't it? To be able to guarantee it, rather than just hope...
[This castle has honestly given them all great burdens and great gifts at the same time.]
no subject
[He beams. He might be leaving Auldrant behind, as much as he loves it...but it still feels like there's so much that he can do for good.]
I hope you wouldn't mind...if we could find the time to visit one another?
no subject
Of course, I would love to be able to see you again. Any time that you'd like.
