The Story Continues... CHAPTER 5 - WEEK 523 Narrators Remain ; Wakey wakey, naughty murder children. It's a lovely Saturday, after all. Breakfast is served piping hot at its usual time and all of the evidence has been removed from the scenes of yesterday. No matter how you choose to spent your morning though, the clock will begin to chime the moment both hands reach the large, ornate twelve. Before your eyes materializes a door...but not just any door. Unlike the door leading to the festival, this door sits primly and properly right in front of the foyer. Whether you exit the castle on your own or you feel a friendly, invisible push, you begin to walk under an arc of wisterias. Behind you, the clock continues to chime with every step you take. By the time the time the clock strikes twelve, you've entered a beautiful garden. In front of you is a long table, 19 seats on each side. Around the garden are several glass cases containing evidence collected yesterday. As noon intensifies on the sun-shaped clock, you'll find Dragon at the head of the table, a glass-covered rose near her right hand. Tick tock, Narrators. You have nine hours to deliberate. Throughout today's trial, cookies and cakes will be served as your trial snacks, along with hot cocoa...served in sippycups. Welcome to your trial post! [Varian can look into the sink! It's...empty and maybe a little wet and rusted, but otherwise it's just a plain ol's sink drain.]

[ im out of crackpot theories for evidence this is why i look at bodies.

so anyway if varian were to revisit the puppet room at the area where sousei was gently sleeping (shhh he's just sleeping) is there anything out of place. what about if he zooms and enhances that area.

also once that's done can he just zoom into eichi puppet's arm. was it bent. we looked at puppets yesterday but didnt go precise until sousei's so there varian is. doing it now. ]

[There's nothing out of place at all. In start contrast to the condition Sousei's body was found in, everything is perfectly clean, almost the way one expects to see it after a post-trial cleanup. Eichi's puppet's arm isn't bent out of shape, either.]

also because card said i could, varian now has the bread crumb and water vial. is it full or does it look like it was emptied? does it taste like-- no im kidding he would never. someone else go eat some sludge thanks. ]

[There's only a pinch of breadcrumbs inside of it, and ... well realistically the droplets of water that were in it yesterday would have evaporated but for the sake of not making this too difficult I'm going to say there's a small amount of water there, clinging to the sides in that annoying way that water does when something you're washing is too narrow for you to fit a towel down there and dry it out.]

[ okay well i dont know what to do with baby sludge so we're just going to keep that vial for. later.

speaking of later. RIGHT BACK TO PUPPET ROOM we go to see if we can check if reyna and zelos's puppets have been fucked with while they canoodled ]

[Their puppets, like Eichi's, don't seem to be damaged in any way, just as their surroundings are perfectly in order. Almost suspiciously in order, even, given the condition of Sousei's body where it was found.]

[ ... can we request to look back a few hours. like. before sousei's body was there at all. is that a thing i can do. ]

[The mirrors don't rewind, but if there's something Varian thinks is suspicious about the scene, he can ask the Dragon and see if maybe she'll confirm...]
