The Story Continues... CHAPTER 5 - WEEK 523 Narrators Remain ; Wakey wakey, naughty murder children. It's a lovely Saturday, after all. Breakfast is served piping hot at its usual time and all of the evidence has been removed from the scenes of yesterday. No matter how you choose to spent your morning though, the clock will begin to chime the moment both hands reach the large, ornate twelve. Before your eyes materializes a door...but not just any door. Unlike the door leading to the festival, this door sits primly and properly right in front of the foyer. Whether you exit the castle on your own or you feel a friendly, invisible push, you begin to walk under an arc of wisterias. Behind you, the clock continues to chime with every step you take. By the time the time the clock strikes twelve, you've entered a beautiful garden. In front of you is a long table, 19 seats on each side. Around the garden are several glass cases containing evidence collected yesterday. As noon intensifies on the sun-shaped clock, you'll find Dragon at the head of the table, a glass-covered rose near her right hand. Tick tock, Narrators. You have nine hours to deliberate. I'm not sure how much any of this matters, but... Reyna-chan was the only one of the three who chose a tiger as her kigurumi.

On top of that, after inspecting the body, it seems as if she's missing a ring. No one was able to find something like that, were they?

Well, we've just proven we didn't look as hard as we could. Maybe it's still somewhere we overlooked?

Or someone's collecting souvenirs from their kills. We didn't find Monika's ribbon, either.

Serial killers sometimes keep souvenirs of their victims in order to remember their kills.

If it is truly gone, then we might be looking into the possibility that this may be someone that has been a Blotter before.

No, I didn't find that. But with how we failed our search in the room, I can't say with certainty that there was no ring anywhere there anymore.

[ although that does get him to raise an eyebrow ] If it is gone, what's the point of it? Although this is not the first time that a culprit has resorted to petty theft either. Remember last week? I don't think we ever found Monika's ribbon.

She always wears that ring. [So.] For her not to have it means it was a deliberate move to remove it for some reason or another. I don't know if that was the case with Monika, but...it's a possibility.

It wasn't as if we wouldn't be able to recognize Reyna without it. They simply took it because they were sick bastards. [ haha who cares about being child friendly when your partner is dead and you hate yourself hahahaha... ]

You missed her body previously. I think we should check the music room again first before checking pockets. A ring would be much harder to find. [There's little faith here, but he's trying.]

From the mark left behind, it seems as if it was something she wore all the time, so for it to be missing... It may be something similar to that.

[He frowns.]

No, we didn't find the ribbon.

Shit, and a ring is harder to find.

... Might still be a good idea to look for it. Even if it means nothing, we don't have a lot of leads to go off of. And there might be a reason the ring's gone besides theft.

If you inspected her-- did it seem as if she fought, as well?

[because that could sure rule out some noodles.]

[He eyes Shirasu for a moment before speaking.]

Yes, quite clearly. There were marks on her face and arms, and even on her hands. I may not be familiar with weapons, but I can tell that she was defending herself.

The stab was so deep that it pierced her heart.

...then I suppose we're looking for someone who would actually be able to overpower her.

As for who could have done it, I suppose we'd have to go off what we've seen of them before and their tapestries...

[he's thinking about it. they've lost at least a couple of the people he'd have pinned as being able to do it, already.]
