The Story Continues... CHAPTER 5 - WEEK 523 Narrators Remain ; Wakey wakey, naughty murder children. It's a lovely Saturday, after all. Breakfast is served piping hot at its usual time and all of the evidence has been removed from the scenes of yesterday. No matter how you choose to spent your morning though, the clock will begin to chime the moment both hands reach the large, ornate twelve. Before your eyes materializes a door...but not just any door. Unlike the door leading to the festival, this door sits primly and properly right in front of the foyer. Whether you exit the castle on your own or you feel a friendly, invisible push, you begin to walk under an arc of wisterias. Behind you, the clock continues to chime with every step you take. By the time the time the clock strikes twelve, you've entered a beautiful garden. In front of you is a long table, 19 seats on each side. Around the garden are several glass cases containing evidence collected yesterday. As noon intensifies on the sun-shaped clock, you'll find Dragon at the head of the table, a glass-covered rose near her right hand. Tick tock, Narrators. You have nine hours to deliberate. [He's immediately reaching for it before he remembers it's technically evidence. His hand hovers in the air awkwardly for a few moments before he drops it.]

...that's it, yes. That answers how it was missed, too, if they didn't check near the piano at all yesterday.

They really fucked up.

[Waver and Dazai are in perpetual time out]

It was my haughtiness that got the best of me. I interpreted the evidence that we did find wrong, and didn't even begin to think of a second opinion.

However, I wouldn't have killed my partner. I wouldn't be as stupid as to put my own head on the chopping block and besides...it would go against the orders of someone very important to me.

But we as a group already sent someone innocent to the chopping block because he said the wrong shit at the wrong time and probably spooked some votes his way.

So let's make sure that doesn't happen a second time.

[And here Sanji dared to think it was Natsuo he had to keep an eye on at all times.]

Alright, so the ring was found nearby. What could that mean?

I'm assuming that shit didn't just slip off her finger...

[resumed]

I doubt it. I've seen Reyna fight countless times before and the ring has always stayed on. Though...[Yikes.] I guess it's possible it was pulled off as they moved her body into the piano itself. It may have caught on the lid or something.

[concasse]

[Sanji's trying to work on the logistics of that in his head. A ring popping off because of a lid? Hm.]

Might be. It's gotta be an accident of some kind, I figure. No reason for the killer to take off her ring and then discard it on the floor.

[HE HOPES?]

[Give him a moment to reach into the pockets of his jacket and also his pants before coming up with a swatch of cloth he has there.]

This should work. [Makeshift bandages are important to have on-hand, especially when your older sister figure and your partner are prone to doing impulsive things.]

Thank you. [It's immediately going somewhere safe, farewell, ring. But it does make him wonder...] Jae-Ha was also missing his leg. Was Sousei missing anything from his person when he was found?
