The Story Continues... CHAPTER 5 - WEEK 523 Narrators Remain ; Wakey wakey, naughty murder children. It's a lovely Saturday, after all. Breakfast is served piping hot at its usual time and all of the evidence has been removed from the scenes of yesterday. No matter how you choose to spent your morning though, the clock will begin to chime the moment both hands reach the large, ornate twelve. Before your eyes materializes a door...but not just any door. Unlike the door leading to the festival, this door sits primly and properly right in front of the foyer. Whether you exit the castle on your own or you feel a friendly, invisible push, you begin to walk under an arc of wisterias. Behind you, the clock continues to chime with every step you take. By the time the time the clock strikes twelve, you've entered a beautiful garden. In front of you is a long table, 19 seats on each side. Around the garden are several glass cases containing evidence collected yesterday. As noon intensifies on the sun-shaped clock, you'll find Dragon at the head of the table, a glass-covered rose near her right hand. Tick tock, Narrators. You have nine hours to deliberate. Throughout today's trial, cookies and cakes will be served as your trial snacks, along with hot cocoa...served in sippycups. Welcome to your trial post! Got fingerprinting powder again! One item, thirteen fingers, let's not mess this up, etc.

What would we fingerprint? The dagger? The vial?

The vial was out in the rain, right? So probably the dagger...

We have a dagger and a pair of stained gloves were found. I don't think there are any prints on the dagger.

Well, we have the powder. Might as well use it for something, right?

Can we print gloves? That's fabric so it's not smooth like glass or a dagger.

Nah, you're right. It's pretty difficult to get fingerprints off of fabric.

Do you know what kind of ink it was in? The gloves only had crimson ink.

... You'll have to ask Dazai or that Melloi guy.

... If we turned the gloves inside out, would there be prints?

Checking who the gloves fit sounds like a good idea, if you ask me. I'm... I don't know if you can get fingerprints off fabric, either.

I've never heard of it. That means... the vial might have something?

I feel as if the dagger would be most reliable, though I don't know much about fingerprinting at all.

Yeah. Wasn't out in the rain, smooth surface... unless there was any other evidence?

From what was found? I don't believe there's anything quite as perfect.

However, we could have missed some of that, as well.

Knowing us, we probably did...

... Dagger's probably our best bet, though. I agree with that.

...How are we going to choose whose, whose fingers to check?

I... have no idea! Unless we feel like checking the dead's hands, maybe we can just check the dagger now and wait until we have a list of suspects?
