The Story Continues... CHAPTER 233 Narrators Remain ; There’s nothing to shake up the feeling of helplessness and betrayal quite like some renovations. Residents in the castle will find a gentle rumble stirring them out of their sleep on Monday morning, and if they choose to find the source of the noise, they’ll notice a newly constructed staircase on the second floor. It stretches up, up, up and will guide the Narrators to a third floor with all types of new installments to the castle. Go ahead, crack open a book, try your hand at some potion mixing. What could possibly go wrong? Just as last week, the morning that the dining hall opens, the tapestries of Ann Takamaki, Soo-won, and Dave Strider will all suddenly catch flame from the bottom, burning up and up until the entire tapestry is gone. Anyone who ventures outside will also find that the scenery has warmed up considerably. Snow no longer dusts the ground, but rather the warm sun and pleasant chirping of birds greet you to the castle grounds. The area has also been expanded, a new jousting grounds available for play and recreation. A set of stables stands next to the grounds, but anyone who ventures inside will find only hear the occasional, phantom whinny of a horse and – find some rather large feathers? Interesting. Finally, partners will find themselves unable to rest peacefully yet another week. While no paranoia creeps over anyone’s shoulders, when night falls and they find themselves sleeping, they’ll instead see dreams – or rather, some memories of their partner. Apparently the Crafters would rather that you all get to know each other sooner, rather than later. Hopefully you don’t see anything you’re not meant to. Welcome to Week 2, everyone! Today we've introduce new castle locations and brought a new round of partner effects, so please review those, including the Outside section on the Locations page. Rebecca frowns and then nods, holding a hand up to her throat.]

She nods, a manner of speaking, that's correct.]

What a pain... I'm glad they didn't give any more tokens this week.

[Not that they really deserved a reward after all that.]

[She shrugs. It's not the worst thing the well's done to somebody. She didn't go up in flames.

She'll tap on the author's name and gestures to him. Does he have something to say about his roommate? Librarymate?]

Oh - right, Niimi. He's famous for children's stories and fairy tales like this, so when he was summoned he came back as a child. Cute kid, likes to play pranks. Scared of thunderstorms.

...I think it only really hit me how many people I know are at risk when I saw his name. I thought of my close friends and my teachers, but not... everyone.

[She nods and then closes her eyes. Her friends. The people she ran away from during the wedding. It's one thing when it was her choice to ghost on her life, but if everybody just ends up frozen forever.

She'll gestures her two fingers together after tapping on his name again. Are you close to Niimi?]

We're not close. Chuuya spends a lot of time with him, but, uh... I'm not exactly close to Chuuya either...

[He shudders just saying Chuuya's name.]

[Wow. She wasn't expecting him to shudder like that.

She'll gesture and make an x with her fingers while mouthing "are you exes?"]

[It takes Dazai a second, but when he realizes what she's mouthing, he goes bright red.]

Of course not! I would die! I would lose the ability to get it up ever again!!

[He's loud enough for the both of them.]

[She doesn't laugh, but she looks pretty amused.

It's that bad, huh?

"Bad lover?" she'll mouth.]

I did not have sex with Nakahara Chuuya!

[He looks like he's about to cry.]

[She'll pick up one of the fairy tale anthologies and point at

And then she'll look up at him.]

...Not a bad person.

[Dazai can't malign Chuuya to that extent, not in front of people who will never meet Chuuya themselves.]

He's an angry and violent drunk, and he's constantly drunk these days, but he's not a bad person. Just a terrifying one.

[She'll mime drinking and then tap "why".

Nobody just drinks that much for no reason.]

[There's a voiceless sigh, but she gives an understanding nod. She's never had to go through it, but her best friend is a mother. She bonded with him a little too.

[Dying and being summoned messes up timelines, but it's easy to understand why the pain is still raw.]

I haven't tried magical booze from the magical dining room yet. Why not.

[She'll make a motioning gesture as she gets up and starts walking towards the exit.

But she picks up a book of fairy tales on her way out.]

[Books are important!! ...even if Shuji wishes they had a bigger selection. He's taking Niimi's book as he follows her.]

I hope your curse gets lifted soon. What did you throw in the well?

[disclosures]

[She makes a little circle shape her free hand. A coin.]

Good, because if you threw something else in there after hearing what happened to Fane and Akechi I'd have to tell you that was stupid.
