The Story Continues... CHAPTER 233 Narrators Remain ; There’s nothing to shake up the feeling of helplessness and betrayal quite like some renovations. Residents in the castle will find a gentle rumble stirring them out of their sleep on Monday morning, and if they choose to find the source of the noise, they’ll notice a newly constructed staircase on the second floor. It stretches up, up, up and will guide the Narrators to a third floor with all types of new installments to the castle. Go ahead, crack open a book, try your hand at some potion mixing. What could possibly go wrong? Just as last week, the morning that the dining hall opens, the tapestries of Ann Takamaki, Soo-won, and Dave Strider will all suddenly catch flame from the bottom, burning up and up until the entire tapestry is gone. Anyone who ventures outside will also find that the scenery has warmed up considerably. Snow no longer dusts the ground, but rather the warm sun and pleasant chirping of birds greet you to the castle grounds. The area has also been expanded, a new jousting grounds available for play and recreation. A set of stables stands next to the grounds, but anyone who ventures inside will find only hear the occasional, phantom whinny of a horse and – find some rather large feathers? Interesting. Finally, partners will find themselves unable to rest peacefully yet another week. While no paranoia creeps over anyone’s shoulders, when night falls and they find themselves sleeping, they’ll instead see dreams – or rather, some memories of their partner. Apparently the Crafters would rather that you all get to know each other sooner, rather than later. Hopefully you don’t see anything you’re not meant to. Welcome to Week 2, everyone! Today we've introduce new castle locations and brought a new round of partner effects, so please review those, including the Outside section on the Locations page. [ waver visibly tenses upon being touched, turning around quickly to see who's the one doing so.

once he acknowledges rebecca, he's about to ask what's the matter when he realizes why anyone would be in this specific place. ]

Ah-- I apologize, Miss Rebecca. [ he steps aside ] I suppose I have been hogging the book too much.

[She gives a nod, mouths a "thank you" and then steps up to read the book.

Once she's done reading it, and she reads quickly, she taps on "Beauty" and "without the Beast's knowledge" and "Other Side".

It doesn't make sense. Beast didn't know. Why was he punished?]

[ waver pays attention to her gestures, nodding when she taps on the words. when he speaks, it's a whisper low enough for only her to hear. ]

It must have been similar to our own rules. If Beauty and Beast were partners and Beauty was killed, then her connection to Beast was severed-- condemning him to death.

[disclosures]

[She frowns and holds up two fingers. Two weeks. That's how long this game has gone.

Then she holds up two fingers on each hand, does a slashing motion across her middle finger, tucks them away, and then puts the index fingers on two hands next to each other.

The partners of this "round" haven't been dying. They're being paired off.]

[ that one takes a little longer to decipher. but once he does, he shakes his head. ]

It's because someone has come through for us each time. Possibly because of participant's intervention and not because of the so called grace of the Tiger and or Dragon.

[ but there's something more pressing to waver and it's-- ]

Are you unable to speak, Miss Rebecca?

[That's what Tiger and Dragon have been saying each time at execution. It's possible that the someone from the previous rounds died before thy'd gotten to that point.

Hm.

But she does nod when he asks about her gesturing instead of saying anything, one hand goes to her throat. She takes the moment after to mime throwing a coin into a well.]

...That's a heavy price to pay for a wish gone wrong.

[ his brow furrows, unhappy with this. however, there's nothing else he can do. ]

We were provided with ink and there's always napkins during dinner. Maybe you will be able to use those to your advantage. But, back to the previous point, it seems that there is someone who is protecting us. Or... [ he pauses, as if considering the possibility of-- ] Judging us, perhaps?

[ he shrugs ]

Who knows for sure?

[She holds up seven fingers. It's only going to be seven days. It's not that bad, she'll have her voice back.

But she's not so sure she can properly write on anything like this. If her words have been taken then doesn't that extend to writing too?

The person who's doing it, is probably the one who knows. But she'll thumbs up "protecting us" with a smile.

She's hoping that's what's happening.]

[ he nods, understanding (somewhat) what rebecca is saying. it's difficult, okay? ]

Yes, I would like for that as well. Although we can only hope that this person isn't taken down like in the war that Beauty and Beast participated.

[She understands. It's a pain having to gesture like this, but she'll pick up another book and flip it open.
