The Story Continues...
PROLOGUE - WEEK 037 Narrators Remain ;

Wakey wakey, naughty murder children. It's a lovely Saturday, after all. Breakfast is served piping hot at its usual time and all of the evidence has been removed from the scenes of yesterday. No matter how you choose to spent your morning though, the clock will begin to chime the moment both hands reach the large, ornate twelve.

Before your eyes materializes a door...but not just any door. Unlike the door leading to the festival, this door sits primly and properly right in front of the foyer. Whether you exit the castle on your own or you feel a friendly, invisible push, you begin to walk under an arc of wisterias. Behind you, the clock continues to chime with every step you take.

By the time the time the clock strikes twelve, you've entered a beautiful garden. In front of you is a long table, 19 seats on each side. Around the garden are several glass cases containing evidence collected yesterday. As noon intensifies on the sun-shaped clock, you'll find Dragon at the head of the table, a glass-covered rose near her right hand.

Tick tock, Narrators. You have nine hours to deliberate.

[ gosh, fitz!! ] The Tailor must have been the real scene of the crime, right? Because the purple ink was found there..... so, the killer must have struggled with Gi-gan there, and.... later the foyer, where her body was moved.

She has two injuries, right? I don't think it's impossible for there to have been two attackers.

And we have a lot of people unaccounted for. So, a team up isn't out of the question!

She was wounded in her neck and her chest, right? So someone could have come up behind her and stabbed her in the neck while she was distracted by someone in front of her, and they could've stabbed her in the chest...

[Don't mind him just trying to work through the details of assassination aloud, it's fine]

Maybe one of those wounds was inflicted after her death...

... Is there a way to tell if someone stabbed her after she died?

Why do you think the Tailor was the scene? Because of the signs of a fight?

The armor could be trying to tell us something!

[ shoots him a glare!!! but continues. ]

There was purple ink found at the tailor --- but we know that if we bleed while alive, it's blood. So, the ink must have happened after Gi-gan was.... well, you know.

[ now she looks sad. ]

Hm. And yet, what with the confetti on the stairs, and the ballroom sign going missing? Something must have happened there.

It could have been a trap to lure people out -- a party, or something? Like the festival. Maybe the killer... or killers... were trying to make Gi-gan and the others believe they had to go out of their rooms, like for the festival.

Something like that would be too obvious for anyone to fall for.

...Was there any ink in with the confetti?

There was ink! Black ink!

The only other place with black ink was in the dining hall, near one of the Ions...

Did anyone see a trail of, uh... ink, leading from the tailor to the foyer? There was "blood" in the tailor, but not enough that it made me think someone had died there at first.

There were purple drops on the floor near where we found her in the foyer.

Yes, but there wasn't a whole trail of blood, which means that either the murderer carrier her there, or transported her via different means.

Even if they carried her, wouldn't have something... dripped down or whatever? The murderer would have gotten dirty, too.

Perhaps. Or they found a way to get her inside the armor and transport her that way. Since, after all, we can see that some armors move on their own.

I hate that transporting her inside magic armor sounds plausible... but that could be how they avoided leaving a trail. I wonder why the placement of the drops was the way we found it, though. We found ink on fabric that was thrown over the mannequins, but none of it was on Gi-gan's pipe or the knocked over furniture.
