The Story Continues... PROLOGUE - WEEK 037 Narrators Remain ; Wakey wakey, naughty murder children. It's a lovely Saturday, after all. Breakfast is served piping hot at its usual time and all of the evidence has been removed from the scenes of yesterday. No matter how you choose to spent your morning though, the clock will begin to chime the moment both hands reach the large, ornate twelve. Before your eyes materializes a door...but not just any door. Unlike the door leading to the festival, this door sits primly and properly right in front of the foyer. Whether you exit the castle on your own or you feel a friendly, invisible push, you begin to walk under an arc of wisterias. Behind you, the clock continues to chime with every step you take. By the time the time the clock strikes twelve, you've entered a beautiful garden. In front of you is a long table, 19 seats on each side. Around the garden are several glass cases containing evidence collected yesterday. As noon intensifies on the sun-shaped clock, you'll find Dragon at the head of the table, a glass-covered rose near her right hand. Tick tock, Narrators. You have nine hours to deliberate. Your body is not hers. While it would be difficult to recreate the exact injury, we should reduce the number of variables we change.

Your wounds aside, they are attempting to replicate a crime scene, to understand completely who committed this crime. It must be as similar as possible to be certain that nothing is missed. The difference may be minute, but it is a difference nonetheless.

So that her murderer does not escape judgement for this crime.

We'd have to wait for the bleeding to stop before we could properly examine your wound. That might take time that we do not have.

One of his skills was knife handling - and I doubt he'd want to kill me in the middle of a trial.

I've endured plenty. A few puncture wounds won't make a difference.

[STOP GIVING SHIRASU KNIVES AND THE GO AHEAD TO USE THEM

You do understand that being injured could be a liability for you later on, fatal or not.

[listen it's not like he's eager to stab jae-ha here, in public, excuse you sousei]

Truth be told, the person being tested does not have to be the victim. [ he shrugs ] But it does lower the chances of any variables, such as height and age differences, from getting in the way. The most desirable situation should be to replicate the situation with as much exactness as possible.

[ he pauses ] Besides, if you truly want to recreate the Captain's wounds on yourself, then you will most likely end up dying as well.

[ He shrugs, then holds out the knife for Shirasu. He's actually not bloodthirsty, just. Practical. ]

If you insist, then here you are. Stab her, stab Jae-ha, I hardly care. Just be sure to stab with the knife first and the the shoe and vice versa.
