The Story Continues... CHAPTER 7 - WEEK 711 Narrators Remain ; Wakey wakey, naughty murder children. It's a lovely Saturday, after all. Breakfast is served piping hot at its usual time and all of the evidence has been removed from the scenes of yesterday. No matter how you choose to spent your morning though, the clock will begin to chime the moment both hands reach the large, ornate twelve. Before your eyes materializes a door...but not just any door. Unlike the door leading to the festival, this door sits primly and properly right in front of the foyer. Whether you exit the castle on your own or you feel a friendly, invisible push, you begin to walk under an arc of wisterias. Behind you, the clock continues to chime with every step you take. By the time the time the clock strikes twelve, you've entered a beautiful garden. In front of you is a long table, 19 seats on each side. Around the garden are several glass cases containing evidence collected yesterday. As noon intensifies on the sun-shaped clock, you'll find Dragon at the head of the table, a glass-covered rose near her right hand. Tick tock, Narrators. You have nine hours to deliberate. The garden is strangely silent and there are no snacks today...it seems as though you'll be left to your own devices. Welcome to your trial post! shirasu isn't finding Shit so maybe their local angel friend will be the finder of the last holy pickaxe?]

[After everything is said and done, Sandalphon is the first person back at their rendezvous point. It looks like he returned empty-handed.]

[ she will also return! with nada. well, almost nada. ]

I think I found the cottage?

[shirasu arrives about the same time, to make this easier! but he too is empty-handed.]

Well, at least we'll know where to go once we find that damned axe. I saw no sign of it.

I found it. It was on the dwarf's back.

[Said in the flattest tone ever.]

Shall we? The cottage awaits. Since it's in a clearing, I can take us there quickly.

[vigilantics]

Oh. That was convenient.

[ well that's. something. ]

Yeah, let's go.

[ she will point in the direction they need to go!! ]

[wagashis]

...it's always like this, isn't it.

[he's really tired, you guys.]

Very well. Let's finish this quickly.

[but if they're traveling, he'll be a cat again because it's easier. poof, kitty.]

[It's fine if Shirasu doesn't want to, but this will make it much easier on Sandalphon, who beckons for Stephanie to come close—then takes her into his arms as a flash of white light bursts from his body and blankets the woods. The light recedes to reveal six white wings sprouting from his back.

Time to fly!]

Oh my god.

[he's a cat so there's nothing from him but a slightly startled meow?! what the heck, sandalphon.

i'm assuming he's holding steph and steph is holding shirnyasu here bc that's easiest and if that's the case he is probably clinging for a moment there.]

[Reaching the clearing takes virtually no time, given that it's easy to spot in an otherwise thick forest. As soon as Sandalphon's feet touch the ground, the wings disperse into innumerable particles and he sets Stephanie down. He approaches the cottage, waiting for Shirasu to take the lead again.]

[vigilantics]

[ hold on, let her... put shirasu down... because she was clinging to him this entire fuckin ride because he was a poor defenseless kitty cat in the sky.... ]

Well.

[wagashis]

[he's going to shift back as soon as he's put down and pretend the clinging never happened.

time to inspect the cottage! he's a fuckin ninja so probably he can identify secret entrances? give him some time to inspect the building, checking here and there...

and then there's a quiet aha from him as the door materializes and opens, and they're all compelled inside so the door can slam behind them.]

[melancoffeea]

[This part is simple enough. Sandalphon gets to exploring the inside of the cottage once the door shuts behind them. Perhaps Stephanie and Shirasu will, finally, have more luck with finding what they're looking for than him this time.]

[vigilantics]

[ and after a while of searching-- ]

Chest!

[wagashis]

-finally.

[shirasu straightens up from wherever he was searching with a relieved sigh. chest!!]
