CHAPTER SEVEN ; TRIAL
CHAPTER 7 - WEEK 7 Wakey wakey, naughty murder children. It's a lovely Saturday, after all. Breakfast is served piping hot at its usual time and all of the evidence has been removed from the scenes of yesterday. No matter how you choose to spent your morning though, the clock will begin to chime the moment both hands reach the large, ornate twelve. Before your eyes materializes a door...but not just any door. Unlike the door leading to the festival, this door sits primly and properly right in front of the foyer. Whether you exit the castle on your own or you feel a friendly, invisible push, you begin to walk under an arc of wisterias. Behind you, the clock continues to chime with every step you take. By the time the time the clock strikes twelve, you've entered a beautiful garden. In front of you is a long table, 19 seats on each side. Around the garden are several glass cases containing evidence collected yesterday. As noon intensifies on the sun-shaped clock, you'll find Dragon at the head of the table, a glass-covered rose near her right hand. Tick tock, Narrators. You have nine hours to deliberate. The garden is strangely silent and there are no snacks today...it seems as though you'll be left to your own devices. ![]() Welcome to your trial post! Please see here for the OOC summary of events from yesterday's investigation. In addition, please be sure to vote! Please see the voting page on how to vote, as we will have two special things to vote for. Voting will close at 9pm EST/6pm PST or sooner if the game ICly elects so. If you have any questions, please ask on our Discord server or ping us on plurk. Please direct pings for the NPC to Dana (

TALK TO THE HOST
When someone approaches, she cants her head to the side and gives them her attention instead. ]
How may I help?
no subject
[gestures to her dead body??]
Can you transfer your promise with her to me instead and answer the question now, or are we just screwed in that department?
no subject
Is that acceptable?

Should you choose Tiger's ending, there is not enough ink to revive the entirety of the Other Side. However if there are people that you care for, there is a way to revive them individually.
[ . . . ]
The rest -
For all that I admire your efficiency, I will give you the rest either by trial end should you choose to vote early, or if you decipher a piece of what happened on Thursday that you did not already come into trial knowing.
I would like to respect the choices made by those over the week by not neglecting them entirely... please.
no subject
[though voting early, they can do.]
All right, fine.
no subject
... thank you.

And what I said before remains true.
I would rather take both of our lives than see harm come to any of you.

Then when it comes to my own fate...
I will do what makes everyone happiest, I think.

[Dragon will make a waving gesture with her hands to conjure up the items to float in front of Veronica.]
You may.
no subject
[Taking those...!! Bless.]
no subject
... Can you tell me if the letter I requested was written by a Narrator or a Crafter?
no subject
Neither.
no subject
[whomst the fuck]
Would... you be able to tell me who wrote it? Or, if you can't, a hint as to who wrote it?
no subject
no subject
Would there be any way for Tiger to show up and stay longer than five seconds?
no subject
Dragon winces.]
... I'm afraid not.
no subject
Thanks. [ ... ] Do you have any idea how she might react to the idea I told you about?
no subject
If I said I did, I would only be leading you astray.
I thought I understood her... I think I still do - but maybe I do not. So I do not want to give you anything that might not be true.
no subject
... are you still okay with it?
no subject
I will be fine, Stephanie.
You don't need to worry about me.
no subject
Okay.
