CHAPTER 7 ; MINGLE
CHAPTER 7 - WEEK 7 Just before Narrators awake, those who are still attached to partners will dream of the two of them together – and then the sudden snap of a red string that connects the two of them. Once they awake, they’ll find the entire section of the rulebook pertaining to Partners has disappeared entirely. Apparently the time for partnerships is over. In addition, the castle has begun to empty out. Perhaps Narrators will notice it now especially on this morning, as their footsteps echo and the halls lack the familiar faces they’ve come to know. Upon entering the dining hall, the tapestries of Evan Hansen, Lord El-Melloi II, Natsuo, Fon Master Ion, Fane, Varian, and Zelos Wilder will all catch flame and disappear as the fire engulfs them entirely, leaving nothing behind. Yet one oddity seems to have enchanted the castle this week – there are the sounds of running footsteps and the familiar laughter of those who have departed. Should you choose to follow this noise, you’ll be led to the Puppet Room. The door will shut behind you – you’ll catch be movement out of the corner of your eye. Yet instead of a puppet entering the stage and re-enacting a dramatic scene, it will just suddenly appear… closer to you. It lingers there, and makes no other move. ![]() Welcome to Week 7, everyone! We would also like to remind players to submit all of their Chapter 6 PCs and new PCs at the Private Conversations page and review the weekly ooc notes for important details in the castle. Something odd will be arriving on Wednesday, July 25th so keep your eyes peeled for that as well.

Meanwhile she's frowning at his wounds while the figure in her hand just raises an eyebrow.]
... Is that... how you got the ink?
no subject
[he says that immediately, just to dispel any false ideas]
We attempted to bring them back with us. [. . .] Perhaps, however, they were ink all along.

[After their conversations.]
Were they all... trapped somewhere?

A large beast that disguised itself as an island full of carnival games. It lured in children with promises of entertainment, only to trap them there to devour them.
Mary had been there for quite some time, supposedly.

But she flicks her eyes down to the pot in his hands.]
Did you try to bring them back?
[And then they melted? That's a nightmare.]
no subject
[THEY DIDN'T MELT. . . they just vanished and turned into pots of. . . ink]
. . . we have ink now, though. Perhaps it'll come in handy for us in the future.
no subject
... It might. More black ink for whatever the Crafters want it for.
[But she feels kind of bad about people turning into ink. How do people go about shutting down their emotions? She wants a chat.]
no subject
[they don't gotta give it to the Crafters!!]
no subject
[She's not sure there's much they can do with it separated out like this.]
no subject
Sanji-san has red.
[yeah]

It's up to each of them what they do with their ink.

I didn't think you were much of a writer.
