The Story Continues... CHAPTER 7 - WEEK 715 Narrators Remain ; Just before Narrators awake, those who are still attached to partners will dream of the two of them together – and then the sudden snap of a red string that connects the two of them. Once they awake, they’ll find the entire section of the rulebook pertaining to Partners has disappeared entirely. Apparently the time for partnerships is over. In addition, the castle has begun to empty out. Perhaps Narrators will notice it now especially on this morning, as their footsteps echo and the halls lack the familiar faces they’ve come to know. Upon entering the dining hall, the tapestries of Evan Hansen, Lord El-Melloi II, Natsuo, Fon Master Ion, Fane, Varian, and Zelos Wilder will all catch flame and disappear as the fire engulfs them entirely, leaving nothing behind. Yet one oddity seems to have enchanted the castle this week – there are the sounds of running footsteps and the familiar laughter of those who have departed. Should you choose to follow this noise, you’ll be led to the Puppet Room. The door will shut behind you – you’ll catch be movement out of the corner of your eye. Yet instead of a puppet entering the stage and re-enacting a dramatic scene, it will just suddenly appear… closer to you. It lingers there, and makes no other move. Welcome to Week 7, everyone! [gently places the ~mysterious pot~ aside]

[and tugs off one of his gloves, fingers first]

Wow, this just gets fishier and fishier.

[but fine...]

[wow, why so suspicious, just because he killed two people??]

[where is your injury Belph, because Akechi is going to reach out to touch it when he gets close enough. there's a brief glow, the feeling of pain vanishing into thin air, and. . .]

[the wound is healed! completely! it might leave a scar or something, I don't know. but you're all better, Belph]

... So, what's the catch?

[quirks a brow and steps back, fingers running over his tie]

And why do you assume there's a catch?

[I'm making you wait for it]

Because it's this place we're talking about.

I'm afraid you'll just have to wait and see.

I need to tend to Sanji-san first, but I have a few questions for you.

[axilium]

My, you're not sick of my company yet?

[doublecrows]

I wouldn't quite go that far.

[is he joking, is he being serious, it sounds like he's somewhere between the two. . .??]

I'd like to know what you intend to do with. . .

[and he glances at Belph's jar of purple ink]

I'm not giving it to you.

[doublecrows]

[a bleary look]

That wasn't my question. What would I do with it, anyway?

[axilium]

I don't know. What are you doing with yours?

[doublecrows]

Not keep it.

[he has no use for it. not anymore]

Well, I'll hold onto mine for now. If it's our "reward" for that entire mess [their really awkward reward with sad implications], it could be relevant to the ending.

[doublecrows]

[yeah don't think about the implications Belph!! Akechi sure isn't!!]

And it may be useful to have our own ink, separate from what Dragon-san and Tiger-san have already collected.

One jar of red, one jar of yellow, one jar of purple. . . how balanced.

How convenient.

Almost suspiciously so.

Isn't it?

But who are we to look a gift horse in the mouth. . .? This ink may come in handy in the future, regardless of which Crafter wins this game.
