CHAPTER 7 ; MINGLE
CHAPTER 7 - WEEK 7 Just before Narrators awake, those who are still attached to partners will dream of the two of them together – and then the sudden snap of a red string that connects the two of them. Once they awake, they’ll find the entire section of the rulebook pertaining to Partners has disappeared entirely. Apparently the time for partnerships is over. In addition, the castle has begun to empty out. Perhaps Narrators will notice it now especially on this morning, as their footsteps echo and the halls lack the familiar faces they’ve come to know. Upon entering the dining hall, the tapestries of Evan Hansen, Lord El-Melloi II, Natsuo, Fon Master Ion, Fane, Varian, and Zelos Wilder will all catch flame and disappear as the fire engulfs them entirely, leaving nothing behind. Yet one oddity seems to have enchanted the castle this week – there are the sounds of running footsteps and the familiar laughter of those who have departed. Should you choose to follow this noise, you’ll be led to the Puppet Room. The door will shut behind you – you’ll catch be movement out of the corner of your eye. Yet instead of a puppet entering the stage and re-enacting a dramatic scene, it will just suddenly appear… closer to you. It lingers there, and makes no other move. ![]() Welcome to Week 7, everyone! We would also like to remind players to submit all of their Chapter 6 PCs and new PCs at the Private Conversations page and review the weekly ooc notes for important details in the castle. Something odd will be arriving on Wednesday, July 25th so keep your eyes peeled for that as well.

Sanji comes out first and what a surprise, he's injured. Specifically his left foot is bleeding badly from the heel, likely painful to walk on, but he's too busy staring at a pot of something in his hands, the shock on his face morphing into devastation]

he stares at it for a moment, before something akin to realization dawns on him and he sighs, utterly exhausted. unlike sanji and akechi, he doesn't bother with a name.]
... I knew something like this would happen...

As soon as they come stumbling through, she's rushing to see them.]
What happened?
no subject
[ah, yes. . . they've been gone for quite some time, haven't they? how long? who even knows]
[he stands up a little straighter, greeting her with a nod, ignoring the way blood stains the tears in his clothing]
I believe. . . we may have met some past game participants.
[but he sounds uncertain; he isn't completely sure about that]
no subject
Meanwhile she's frowning at his wounds while the figure in her hand just raises an eyebrow.]
... Is that... how you got the ink?
no subject
[he says that immediately, just to dispel any false ideas]
We attempted to bring them back with us. [. . .] Perhaps, however, they were ink all along.

These were the three we could save.
I thought maybe they'd come through the door with us, but...

shuffles a few steps over and plops himself onto the ground, still holding onto his pot, because standing is a pain. literally.]
All things considered? Could be worse.

[ she's only now noticing the pots since she was more concerned about the, you know, bleeding. ]

Of course not. But if you'd like me to, I'm certain I could arrange that.
