The Story Continues... CHAPTER 7 - WEEK 715 Narrators Remain ; Just before Narrators awake, those who are still attached to partners will dream of the two of them together – and then the sudden snap of a red string that connects the two of them. Once they awake, they’ll find the entire section of the rulebook pertaining to Partners has disappeared entirely. Apparently the time for partnerships is over. In addition, the castle has begun to empty out. Perhaps Narrators will notice it now especially on this morning, as their footsteps echo and the halls lack the familiar faces they’ve come to know. Upon entering the dining hall, the tapestries of Evan Hansen, Lord El-Melloi II, Natsuo, Fon Master Ion, Fane, Varian, and Zelos Wilder will all catch flame and disappear as the fire engulfs them entirely, leaving nothing behind. Yet one oddity seems to have enchanted the castle this week – there are the sounds of running footsteps and the familiar laughter of those who have departed. Should you choose to follow this noise, you’ll be led to the Puppet Room. The door will shut behind you – you’ll catch be movement out of the corner of your eye. Yet instead of a puppet entering the stage and re-enacting a dramatic scene, it will just suddenly appear… closer to you. It lingers there, and makes no other move. Welcome to Week 7, everyone! [Slowly, at the touch to his elbow, he pulls his hand back with a sigh. It's covered in ink now and dripping on the floor, itself.]

I had wondered if these intended to count our actions back home alone, or in this place, as well. It seems this answers it... probably.

Souji glances up at the tapestries at that, though, lips briefly pressing into a thin, thoughtful line.]

--Probably. [WELL, THIS IS FINE.] We should get you cleaned up.

[Not if mentally breaking them doesn't count! Yay!]

Does it matter? I've already stained these hands beyond what can be cleaned. [dramatic] Well, but I'd like to avoid getting it on my face, I suppose.

[HM. ALSO BAD. What a questionable sickly nerd this boy is.]

It would also be good to keep the floors clean so no one slips.

[Eichi... Well, not like he doesn't get the Filthy Hands™ feeling, at least.]

Let me get you a towel.

[Shufflin on off to the kitchen to do just that! Here you go, wipe up the ink, no more villain monologue set-ups here.]

[Today, he's really between unusually quiet or talking almost too much, too cheerfully, but it seems Souji has him in the previous one at the moment. He takes the towel, though, wiping his hand clean as much as he can, and then dropping it to the floor to soak up what he might have trailed too far from the tapestries.]

...Not yet. I peeked in the kitchen and Sanji-kun, who I'd normally bother to make me something, looked so tired...

I thought it might give him a bit more rest to step away.

[He's probably exhausted from the EMOTIONAL TURMOIL OF HIS PARTNER MCDYING. RIP Sanji.]
