The Story Continues... CHAPTER 6 - WEEK 6??? Narrators Remain ; The clock begins to chime, and on the first note, curfew lifts. Your doors swing open, whether you are ready or not. Leaving your room is a blur. The person you fell asleep beside — are they still there? Have they vanished? Were they ever there at all? You can't seem to recall clearly. What you are most aware of is the pervading sense of wrongness in the air, and how you can't hear anything but the chime of the clock. Even the sounds of your own voice and your own footsteps do not reach your ears. By the time the time the clock strikes nine, you know one thing to be true: blood has been spilt. Search the castle carefully — you wouldn't want to miss a single important detail, would you...? Welcome to this week's investigation post! This time, the mods will be providing top-levels for you to search. Please note the Locations page for your reference. Evidence — or lack thereof — will be noted in these threads. We ask that group threads consist of no more than 1-2 characters. After the discovery of the body (or bodies) and any pertinent evidence, an IC announcement concluding the investigation will go up. [there are like eight paths apparently so can I just tell you he is going to spend time checking each of them and their bushes so I don't make you go back and forth with me for fourteen tags.]

anyway, near one of the flowerbeds, shirasu will find that some of the flowers have... fallen off near the bottom? they seem a little crushed. he might want to take a closer look.]

[ain't none of us got time for that.

he'll investigate what's up down there and try to see what happened with these flowers!]

[maybe someone was doing something over here, because the flowers definitely seem to have been knocked off from the bush. a few dark strands of something that might be some kind of dead grass poke out from the dirt, which seems as though it's been a little disturbed - unsurprising, with the state of the flowers.

some of the fallen flowers seem to be in the same shape as the folded cloth flower he found earlier. maybe someone needed a reference!]

[hmm... taking a closer look at the disturbed dirt. is it turned over enough to have been dug in? don't these gardens look too nice to have dead grass in them?? that's also getting a second look.]

[it's possible that the dirt could have been dug in! but do you see any shovels around here, shirasu?

those little strands are dark and poking up out of the dirt. just by sight, it's difficult to tell what they are in the shadow of the flowerbed, though.]

[no and he can't GO GET ONE so I guess we're doing some gardening by hand here, this is his life, these are his choices in the pursuit of evidence.

he'll try to carefully unearth those strands first and if by strands you mean this is hair I'm gonna die.]

[as he works at unearthing those dark strands, he'll find some gold liquid mixed in with the dirt!]

shirasu continues to dig, carefully. fuck me up fam.]

[after significant effort, shirasu will dig down deep enough to realize that, yeah, those strands are hair that he's unearthed.






also he unearths the face of Lord El-Melloi II. ... his lips are stitched shut. his head seems to be connected to his neck and shoulders, at least, but he'll have to do a lot of digging to find more.]

what if he just digs down to the shoulders and pulls (gently to make sure he's not like, detaching his Head N' Shoulders™ from more of his body) to try to get him out.]

[well... that might be easier said than done. it certainly seems as though it's still connected to something - it doesn't come up out of the hole he's dug out so far.

that said, he won't feel an arm attached to his left shoulder when he does that.]

[then I guess we just have to keep excavating to find out how much of waver is here

he'll find that he's only missing his left arm and his right leg.

also damn, you go shirasu, you just dug up a grave with your bare hands. it probably took several hours, but you did it.]
