The Story Continues... CHAPTER 5 - WEEK 523 Narrators Remain ; Wakey wakey, naughty murder children. It's a lovely Saturday, after all. Breakfast is served piping hot at its usual time and all of the evidence has been removed from the scenes of yesterday. No matter how you choose to spent your morning though, the clock will begin to chime the moment both hands reach the large, ornate twelve. Before your eyes materializes a door...but not just any door. Unlike the door leading to the festival, this door sits primly and properly right in front of the foyer. Whether you exit the castle on your own or you feel a friendly, invisible push, you begin to walk under an arc of wisterias. Behind you, the clock continues to chime with every step you take. By the time the time the clock strikes twelve, you've entered a beautiful garden. In front of you is a long table, 19 seats on each side. Around the garden are several glass cases containing evidence collected yesterday. As noon intensifies on the sun-shaped clock, you'll find Dragon at the head of the table, a glass-covered rose near her right hand. Tick tock, Narrators. You have nine hours to deliberate. Kigurumi mystery

[So Sanji's arms are half covered in swan guts but pay no mind, he's got a small piece of a kigurumi in his hand]

So, found something. A kigurumi that's stained with red ink or blood.

Waver says it was likely Reyna's.

Either the killer took this off of her and hid the evidence in the lake, or... Reyna-chan discarded it...?

[The latter of which makes no sense to him, so.]

Could she have been wearing it at the time...? I suppose with it in pieces, we can't tell if it was damaged before it ended up in the lake, though.

Yeah there's not enough pieces to know for certain, but the consensus seems to be either she was wearing it, or the killer was.

Could it be possible that the killer wore it instead, to avoid blood - or ink - getting on their clothes? And discarded it to hide the evidence?

Could be. There's not enough to tell, sadly.

... Is there a way to check whether it absolutely is ink and not blood?

That's not what she was found in. Why did it end up there?

... Who were the people who chose that kigurumi?

I chose the dragon one, myself, but I'm not sure if there's be an accurate way to tell. It's been so long, after all, and as far as I can tell nothing has been stopping anyone from stealing, trading, or discarding the one they started with.

[Though it would be SUPER helpful if they could get a convenient list.]

I chose the tiger one, and Sanji gave me his kigurumi back then. ... I was stuck in just a robe. Anyway.

I don't know why anybody would want to go stealing them. How would they discard of them? There's no easy way to do get rid of things in the castle.

Aside from feeding them to swans?

There are plenty of tools in the Tailor to re-purpose the material. Or...fire.

The dormitory doors are only locked Thursday nights.

[ So... anyone could have access to any kigurumi left out in the open any other day. ]

Exactly. And I haven't seen too many of us wearing them regularly, outside of the week where it snowed. How many of us have kept close enough track to notice if one may have gone missing?

That guess is as good as anyone else's. All I can say is Waver said Reyna would have a Tiger kigurumi.

And since it's covered in red something, he's probably not off the mark.

Lots of people have tiger kigus. And if you're going to wear something you'll dispose of later, it's not as though many people would think it was strange to not seeing somewhere wearing a kigu after this.

So you think it's more likely the culprit wore it?

Is it possible to tell the size from the pieces we have?

Reyna-chan was wearing jeans, so I find it strange that she would have been ready for bed. At least, not while it wasn't very cold. Though, it's true that she didn't have her armor...

Usually these sorts of things are one size fits all, similarly to the gloves. It's gonna be tough to pinpoint a specific size, especially when all we have are just a couple of pieces.
