The Story Continues... CHAPTER 3 - WEEK 329 Narrators Remain ; Wakey wakey, naughty murder children. It's a lovely Saturday, after all. Breakfast is served piping hot at its usual time and all of the evidence has been removed from the scenes of yesterday. No matter how you choose to spent your morning though, the clock will begin to chime the moment both hands reach the large, ornate twelve. Before your eyes materializes a door...but not just any door. Unlike the door leading to the festival, this door sits primly and properly right in front of the foyer. Whether you exit the castle on your own or you feel a friendly, invisible push, you begin to walk under an arc of wisterias. Behind you, the clock continues to chime with every step you take. By the time the time the clock strikes twelve, you've entered a beautiful garden. In front of you is a long table, 19 seats on each side. Around the garden are several glass cases containing evidence collected yesterday. As noon intensifies on the sun-shaped clock, you'll find Tiger at the head of the table, a glass-covered rose near her right hand. Tick tock, Narrators. You have nine hours to deliberate. Throughout today's trial, the delightful, delectable scent of freshly brewed coffee will linger in the air though there will be no coffee present. Reyna shrugs and takes the katana when she has the chance to. She remembers the way Yasusada held his hands when they were sparring before - so she adjusts her grip in the same way and goes through a few swings.

...weapons are easy enough. She doesn't look as though she's got any sort of mastery with this particular type of blade, but even with the way she has to be cautious of the motion so as to not rip her back stitches, she's someone who's at ease with pretty much any kind of weapon, and that shows.]

Jae-ha will look like he's evaluating the sword once he's given it, trying to discern its weight with one hand first, then holding it with both, and when he swings it does look like a rather neat arc.

That said, it does lack confidence.]

... I suppose it makes sense to fight with one of these if you're to stay grounded?

...He can lift it easily, and he's seen other people use it so he can come close to a decent stance, but anyone with decent swordsmanship skills can tell that he's copying foggy memories of other people using swords and hasn't actually had to do it himself, ever. And even to people without swordsmanship skills, he looks terribly awkward.]

[Well since this was partially his fault for suggesting it, he'll take the katana and adjust it into his hand. However, he's also holding it with one hand and adjusting his grip. It's not perfect and it's not mastery, but he swings the katana a few times in a passable manner. It's the efforts of someone who at least knows how to use a sword, so there's that.]

[TIME TO SWING SWORD. Souji, as his tapestry suggests, is very proficient with the actual form here. To an untrained eye it's definitely an impressive swing!

Those who are more used to combat and sword-fighting in particular, on the other hand, will probably notice a slight unsteady waver.]

honestly, even though no one can hear it, jack the sword-stuck-as-a-pendant is laughing at him a bit and it's fair. ]

But for the good of the group, Sanji will pick it up, and easily at that. Upper body strength and all that good shit. That said, the way he's holding it and his swings are far from masterful.]

[he'll take it in his right hand, but he's adjusting his grip a few times as if having trouble figuring out just how to balance it right (almost had it right the first time, though). another person who's decent with weapons in general, probably, but he doesn't really look like swords are his main thing.]
