The Story Continues... CHAPTER 1 - WEEK 1??? Narrators Remain ; The clock begins to chime, and on the first note, curfew lifts. Your doors swing open, whether you are ready or not. Leaving your room is a blur. The person you fell asleep beside — are they still there? Have they vanished? Were they ever there at all? You can't seem to recall clearly. What you are most aware of is the pervading sense of wrongness in the air, and how you can't hear anything but the chime of the clock. Even the sounds of your own voice and your own footsteps do not reach your ears. By the time the time the clock strikes nine, you know one thing to be true: blood has been spilt. Search the castle carefully — you wouldn't want to miss a single important detail, would you...? Welcome to this week's investigation post! This time, you all will be posting your own locations that you wish to search. Please note the Locations page for your reference. Evidence — or lack thereof — will be noted in these threads. We ask that group threads consist of no more than 2-3 characters. After the discovery of the body (or bodies) and any pertinent evidence, an IC announcement concluding the investigation will go up. You are then free to make your own toplevels on this post for any threads you would like to have between the end of the investigation and the start of the trial. There's a lot of yarn missing, but I think that just means someone was knitting?

... Or I suppose you could have used it to strangle someone, but I hope someone was knitting.

[Now that the option is there, she's going to look for them.]

Lots of fabric is gone.

You can strangle with yarn and suffocate with fabric. You can stab with knitting needles, too.

[ This confirmation of options is made with no waver in her voice. ]

There's some fabric strips on a table here. I saw people making bandages earlier this week....

[ Still, she takes a closer look at that table. ]

[There are knitting needles! They're in a basket along with the few skeins of yarn that remain. It doesn't look like any of them are missing from the rooms.

Kyoua's perusal of the table will tell her that ... yep, these strips look like they're made of the same fabric that she saw people making bandages from earlier! Apparently they left some available for anyone to take. How kind.

Also, out of nowhere, one of the spinning wheels starts moving on its own.]

[ Cardia is on guard for anything dangerous. Bodies. Sudden movements. That spinning wheel happens to be seen at the corner of her eye, and that is why her reflexes snap to life.

She fucking spinning round-house kicks it.

Sorry. ]

[Rebecca, on the other hand, jumps back and screams.]

Oh my god!

[nivation]

[ Kyouka jumps into motion as soon as Cardia moves, grabbing the knitting needles and waits to see if the kick knocked the spinning wheel out. ]

[The spinning wheel crashes to the ground with a clatter! It spins just a little bit longer before coming to a stop.

...

Nothing else happens. Good work team!]

[ Well. Okay. She'll straighten up. ]

Shall we go? I think that's everything.

I... think so? Should we clean it up?

[Since she people should clean up after themselves.]

Is there anything else you wanted to look at?

It doesn't look like anything happened here...

[ So it's probably okay to clean it up? ]

I can help clean.

[ Also, if she can, she's also going to slip some of those knitting needles into her sleeve. She doesn't care if anyone sees her do it. ]

Kyouka won't have any trouble taking the knitting needles. Hm.]

[ The only deaths in the Tailors Room this week are clutter and round house kicked spinning wheels.
