The Story Continues... CHAPTER 1 - WEEK 1??? Narrators Remain ; The clock begins to chime, and on the first note, curfew lifts. Your doors swing open, whether you are ready or not. Leaving your room is a blur. The person you fell asleep beside — are they still there? Have they vanished? Were they ever there at all? You can't seem to recall clearly. What you are most aware of is the pervading sense of wrongness in the air, and how you can't hear anything but the chime of the clock. Even the sounds of your own voice and your own footsteps do not reach your ears. By the time the time the clock strikes nine, you know one thing to be true: blood has been spilt. Search the castle carefully — you wouldn't want to miss a single important detail, would you...? Welcome to this week's investigation post! This time, you all will be posting your own locations that you wish to search. Please note the Locations page for your reference. Evidence — or lack thereof — will be noted in these threads. We ask that group threads consist of no more than 2-3 characters. After the discovery of the body (or bodies) and any pertinent evidence, an IC announcement concluding the investigation will go up. You are then free to make your own toplevels on this post for any threads you would like to have between the end of the investigation and the start of the trial. [Everyone is flinging themselves out to explore the castle at large which is #relatable but I guess we should be methodical about this and check the dorms first...??]

[Waver just gets a nod at that because Sousei's not chatty at the best of times, but especially not when they're looking for Possibly Multiple Bodies.

ANYWAY, WHAT'S AROUND HERE?]

[For the most part, everything seems fine. They won't notice anything particularly out of place or suspicious about any of the dormitories (unless you count some ill-placed lime green furniture in the wind dorms) until they reach the door to the earth dorm. If they're especially observant, they might notice something seem off about the door.]

In all honesty, Sousei's the sort of person who notices details AND SO.

Shall we go look closer, Waver...? What's up with the door, exactly?]

[What is wrong with the door, indeed. It's easy to overlook for normal peasants who aren't as #observant as these two because it's not actually the whole door with a problem as much as the doorknob itself. There are scratches on the keyhole, clear evidence that the lock had been picked.]

[yeah good thing we're not unobservant PEASANTS.

It's fine though, Sousei's just noting that, assuming Waver saw it (or not caring if Waver saw it) and just going to go ahead and try to open the door either way.

[ you know what, waver actually...likes this! no lectures, no stupid comments. he's having a better time right now than he's had all fucking week and that's saying something.

so, yes, he did notice the lockpicked door, and is currently waiting for sousei to open the door because hey he's not doing any work he doesn't have to do. ]

[Aside from the lockpicking, it doesn't seem that anything else is odd or out of place inside of the dorm. Whatever reason someone had for breaking in is hard to say. I'm just glad that Waver gets the rest his twink ass deserves.]
