The Story Continues...
PROLOGUE - WEEK 037 Narrators Remain ;

Wakey wakey, naughty murder children. It's a lovely Saturday, after all. Breakfast is served piping hot at its usual time and all of the evidence has been removed from the scenes of yesterday. No matter how you choose to spent your morning though, the clock will begin to chime the moment both hands reach the large, ornate twelve.

Before your eyes materializes a door...but not just any door. Unlike the door leading to the festival, this door sits primly and properly right in front of the foyer. Whether you exit the castle on your own or you feel a friendly, invisible push, you begin to walk under an arc of wisterias. Behind you, the clock continues to chime with every step you take.

By the time the time the clock strikes twelve, you've entered a beautiful garden. In front of you is a long table, 19 seats on each side. Around the garden are several glass cases containing evidence collected yesterday. As noon intensifies on the sun-shaped clock, you'll find Dragon at the head of the table, a glass-covered rose near her right hand.

Tick tock, Narrators. You have nine hours to deliberate.

Have we confirmed that? All the stains we found were purple.

Blood that's still in living people is red, usually. As far as stabbing people has told us today.

Does it change color depending on what you eat?

Then Gi-gan bled, but her attacker didn't. [hm.] But they could still be bruised somewhere. You don't leave blood behind if you're only scuffed up.

That's a possibility.

Uh... We can check if anyone has bruises that match up with Gi-gan defending herself?

We have to use what we're given to work with, even if it's not ideal.

Right? She was stabbed in the neck and chest— that's gotta be from the front, or else you'll miss where you want to stab if you can't see?

I think so, yeah. The shape of the wound would change depending on where the killer was standing, too.

[like stabbing play-doh... the angle would change depending on how you stabbed it? ew.]

It looks too clean, like that's not what killed her. But there's nothing else it could've been, right?

[because she's never stabbed a real person. let her live.]

I... I don't know about how clean the wound would be. Forensic sciences wasn't among my choices for a college major.

If she moved at all, it wouldn't be straight in an out! You don't need forensics for that!

Then what if she was stabbed after she was knocked unconscious? It would explain the fight and also the cleanliness of the wound.

Someone took her down without hurting her? Somehow?

[ What does that leave- suffocating, maybe, or poison ]

While that does not sound likely, she could have been taken by surprise, or simply knocked unconscious during the fight-- and then murdered.

Jae-ha says there's no way someone could've surprised her, unless it's a kid or a girl!

We could use that criteria to narrow our list down.

Do we have a list of people yet? Everybody was talking about short people before, but I don't think that's it!
