The Story Continues... PROLOGUE - WEEK 037 Narrators Remain ; Wakey wakey, naughty murder children. It's a lovely Saturday, after all. Breakfast is served piping hot at its usual time and all of the evidence has been removed from the scenes of yesterday. No matter how you choose to spent your morning though, the clock will begin to chime the moment both hands reach the large, ornate twelve. Before your eyes materializes a door...but not just any door. Unlike the door leading to the festival, this door sits primly and properly right in front of the foyer. Whether you exit the castle on your own or you feel a friendly, invisible push, you begin to walk under an arc of wisterias. Behind you, the clock continues to chime with every step you take. By the time the time the clock strikes twelve, you've entered a beautiful garden. In front of you is a long table, 19 seats on each side. Around the garden are several glass cases containing evidence collected yesterday. As noon intensifies on the sun-shaped clock, you'll find Dragon at the head of the table, a glass-covered rose near her right hand. Tick tock, Narrators. You have nine hours to deliberate. I took clothes. I took five dresses from the tailor on Tuesday.

I don't want to be stuck in my wedding dress of pajamas for however long this is going to go on. [She's wearing one of them right now.]

[asswipe]

[WELL. If nothing else, that's a relief. Veronica lets out a breath.]

Okay. Cool. Great. So that rules out the dresses being used as five seriously fashionable kill suits, I hope.

[disclosures]

They're in my room, if you're worried about them.

I don't think any of them can inflict wounds though. So even if somebody took new clothes to kill, they wouldn't be the murder weapon.

Unless they're more than just clothes.

[asswipe]

I'm not worried about them being murder weapons. I'm more worried about someone using them to avoid getting "blood" all over their other clothes.

They'd still have to dispose of them somehow. I don't have a blacklight on me, but blood is hard to get out of clothes.

[asswipe]

They could have stuffed them somewhere we didn't look during the investigation. It's possible we missed something. [A one armed shrug??] ... But I'm not singling you out, if that's what you're thinking. I'm just— I want to think of all angles. I don't want this to end badly.

I'm pretty sure the only person who wants it to end poorly is the actual murderer.

Was there anywhere that was overlooked yesterday?

[asswipe]

I don't remember anyone snooping around the dorms... And the door to this part of the castle was locked yesterday.

[disclosures]

I looked at the dorms through the mirrors, but there's nothing suspicious about them.

Since it was locked yesterday nobody could've gotten through. Except the hosts. It does seem to be their castle.

[asswipe]

But the rules say we need their permission to kill. What if they gave someone special access to carry the murder out?

[disclosures]

If they want us to solve a murder mystery, it doesn't make sense to lock away big pieces of evidence.

[asswipe]

"If" is a really important keyword, don't you think?

It's a very important one.
