The Story Continues... CHAPTER 6 - WEEK 6??? Narrators Remain ; The clock begins to chime, and on the first note, curfew lifts. Your doors swing open, whether you are ready or not. Leaving your room is a blur. The person you fell asleep beside — are they still there? Have they vanished? Were they ever there at all? You can't seem to recall clearly. What you are most aware of is the pervading sense of wrongness in the air, and how you can't hear anything but the chime of the clock. Even the sounds of your own voice and your own footsteps do not reach your ears. By the time the time the clock strikes nine, you know one thing to be true: blood has been spilt. Search the castle carefully — you wouldn't want to miss a single important detail, would you...? Welcome to this week's investigation post! Just keep the swan away from it! [But gods. Okay he's...gently pushing some of the swans out of the way and he's taking a breath before ducking under the water.

Fully clothed. And with his stupid sword. Bye.

What sort of mass are we talking here?]

[the swan lunges at the shovel!! it will have its flesh snack one way or another... but it hits the metal part of it and looks a little dazed.

under the water, it seems to be some kind of mass of fabric. above nico, some of the swans duck their heads down and stare at him.]

[disclosures]

[She'll... hold the arm closer to her- THIS IS THE WORST DAY, YOU GUYS- and keep the shovel between her and this angry ass swan.]

[resumed]

[He can hear her yelling? But he's diving down and eyeing the swans incredulously before he just. Grabs the fabric. Who cares what it is, maybe it has a head wrapped in it, we don't know!!! But he's taking it and swimming upwards to start taking it back to the shore.

Once he gets to the shore he'll get a closer look at this mass. What the heck did he just grab?

At least the swan's dazed for now.]

[nico grabbed a bunch of sopping wet clothing!

the swans from the lake are swimming after him. THEY wanted that clothing. the one swan is dazed, but they're about to have like seven more on their heels.]

[Well at least Rebecca is here. With only one swan.]

We need to go! Now!

[Before all the swans descend on them.]

Start moving, I'll grab the arm! [He finally gets out of the lake and he probably looks like a drowned cat but whatever! He has...clothes...yay...

He's going to use them to grab the arm and start running from the swans. Let's go, Rebecca!]

[disclosures]

[Time to go! Good bye swans, they'll look at the clothes later!!

She's pretty sure they got everything, but also she hates this day.]

[the swans chase them out through the path in the woods! ...but they keep running, so they make it out just fine.

when will these swans be allowed to eat :c ]

[NEVER BECAUSE THEY'RE TERRIBLE.

Anyway they run up the path and away from the lake and it's only when there's distance that he checks the clothes a little more carefully. Why were there clothes in the lake?]

So...let's never do that again.

[disclosures]

I never want to see dismembered arm ever again.

[But you know. This one is still here. Awful. Terrible.]

Also if I ever say I want to see the swans remind me they're awful!

[why were the clothes in the lake? well, probably because someone wanted to dispose of the evidence!

the clothes look like they're bigger than something nico would wear. hmm.]

You don't have to tell me twice. [Too bad he's still holding a dismembered arm. And clothes that are on the bigger size. At least it's convenient for dismembered arm carrying.] Do we even know who this could belong to?

It's got gold ink. So this was a Hero...

[She'll take the clothes...]

What size are these? I don't think it's anybody around your age...

[good question! they don't have size tags, alas.

anyway now that they're out of the woods, no more modtags are incoming]

[He shrugs a little as he looks them over. Bye mod.] I don't think so either. They do look a little big. [He shakes his head though, water droplets falling from his hair.]

Let's get back to the castle and see what everybody else found.

There's no size tag either, so these aren't off the rack.

I hope there was just this body.
