Magnus's bid to tackle one of the remaining swans doesn't actually go that badly, at first. He's able to get ahold of it and when it opens its beak to squawk indignantly, the orange thing slips out of its mouth - this close, he'll see that it looks like roughly 1/4 of a tiger kigurumi. There are some crimson stains on the fabric that even the lake's water hasn't washed off in its entirety yet.
However...
There's a hefty-looking rock that Natsuo can toss at the retreating swan. It hits it and sends it spiraling to the ground, but it doesn't loosen its hold on the orange thing in its mouth.
But the other swans all look directly at Natsuo.
The two with orange pieces of fabric fly away - the two that were about halfway through their hotdogs abandon them to fly up and descend upon him with much squawking and feathers. And the noise seems to be attracting the attention of others - there's the sound of flapping wings approaching. Many, many flapping wings.
Will they grab the fourth of the kigurumi Magnus is within easy reaching distance of and run for it? Or will they go for the one that the swan Natsuo downed dropped, too?]
