The Story Continues... END OF CHAPTER 3 - WEEK 329 Narrators Remain ; It's execution day, naughty murder children. Breakfast is served in the dining hall, all the better to fortify you for what is to come. Wherever you might wander in the castle, you will find yourself drawn to the foyer when the clock strikes not twelve, but ten. In the distance, there is the sound of clanking armor. Yamatonokami Yasusada appears, flanked on either side by suits of armor, escorting him to his punishment. His expression is one that may be difficult for anyone who isn't a sword spirit to read, but he seems to have accepted his fate. A moment later, the Tiger appears on the foyer's staircase. Her hand trails down the banister as she sashays down it, and she takes her place at the head of the group, standing in front of what appears to be a wall. "Come along, darlings," she says. "The execution awaits." You blink, and then it's there — a door leading to the outside. The Tiger steps through it. You have no choice but to follow. Welcome to your third execution post! [Wheezes...Ion isn't going to comment, but he stoops down beside Varian and puts a hand on his back to stabilize him, halfway shielding him from everything else that's happening. Just take all the time you need friend. :( ]

Sanji will hang back for a little bit, allow Varian to breathe and collect himself before he wanders over, placing a hand on his shoulder]

[ by this time he's just wiping at his eyes and refusing to look at rapunzel's corpse over there. just. going to move right along past that. ]

[ he's not sure what to say. ]

... You did your part, kid. Maybe you should go rest for a bit.

[ and that's more snappy than he meant it to be, so he stops himself and takes a breath. ]

... I'm okay. [ he is. obviously not. but. ]

[concasse]

I don't have to what?

[Sanji's tone is far from snappy -- he doesn't seem perturbed by that attitude]

Worry about you? Tough shit, I'm gonna.

... Take care of me. That's what I was going to say.

[ Sanji's is a much nicer sentiment, and a lot less condescending than whatever Varian might've thought. ]

[concasse]

... She's gone.

[His voice goes quiet, and Sanji looks. tired, for a moment.]

Honestly, you could stand to be angry.

[What, Sanji making himself a target so Varian can feel better?

... I don't know what I'm feeling.

[ it's candid, and at that, he looks at Rapunzel's body. hanging. ]

Death by hanging is how Corona deals with its worst criminals. [ there's a pause ] I think that's why they picked it.

[concasse]

... Hanging's usually what befalls a pirate when they're sent to the gallows.
