The Story Continues... END OF CHAPTER 1 - WEEK 134 Narrators Remain ; It's execution day, naughty murder children. Breakfast is served in the dining hall, all the better to fortify you for what is to come. Wherever you might wander in the castle, you will find yourself drawn to the foyer when the clock strikes not twelve, but ten. In the distance, there is the sound of clanking armor. Ann Takamaki appears, flanked on either side by suits of armor, escorting her to her punishment. She stares straight ahead with each step closer to the group that they take. A moment later, the Tiger appears on the foyer's staircase. Her hand trails down the banister as she sashays down it, and she takes her place at the head of the group, standing in front of what appears to be a wall. "Come along, darlings," she says. "The execution awaits." You blink, and then it's there — a door leading to the outside. The Tiger steps through it. You have no choice but to follow. Welcome to your second execution post! I can't do anything like that.

That's not true at all.

[He smiles a little at that, because that's exactly what he found.] I was told that it wouldn't be possible for me to do something like that, you know? My body was too weak, my heart wouldn't be able to take it, my lungs couldn't hold enough air... Without a doubt, I'd die, they said.

And yet, I've become the top idol at my school, and I intend to go even further. Until that point, however, there was no purpose to my life. I simply existed just to exist. You simply have to find your own calling. It's there for you, most certainly. Something that calls out to your heart and makes you warm inside.

[ Idols are such a far off concept in her small world, but his words strike a small chord within her. Existing just because... Searching for a purpose, a calling... It resonates a little. ]

[He places a hand gently over her head, if she'll allow it. An affectionate gesture.]

Let nothing stand in your way, especially not yourself. It was no easy path... but I made it, and so can you. I'll cheer you on along the way. If you'd like to share that dream with me, at any point in time... I'd be glad to hear it.

[ She allows it, and her expression softens by a hair. Affectionate gestures aren't something she's used to.

She opens her mouth to speak but closes it. Her tapestry tells everyone who she is, what she is, but can she really tell this boy, who shines bright as an idol and who was just forced to murder someone, about her world?

After she voted for Akechi? ]

... You can still say that to me after I mentioned who I voted for. Why?

As an idol, I'd like to spread this calm feeling of hope to everyone, friend or enemy. Even if you may want my partner dead, and wish to risk my life in the process... that doesn't change something like this.

Though, of course, I'd ask you to view him closely in the future, to see what you really see. He's not so different from the two of us.
